Yeah findingme ... It wasn't the 'yard sales' per se' it was anything by which one might invite demons into ones homes ... muwhaahaahahahahah. You know those super witnesses are the most paranoid bunch. I recall one pio. sister saysing she threw out everything in her new apartment when she cleaned it out ... even leftover screws! She probably would've thrown out the commode too if she could replace it herself (tee hee hee)

you had to continuously question yourself about possibly offending another (weak) christian's conscience.....were you always worried that you were going to get into trouble because you might've screwed up somehow??.

I walked a very fine line as a witness. I even felt guilty for cussing in my head! How's that for a mind-trip .

Right up to the time I realized that other witnesses were going to clubs and seeing R rated movies. That coupled with the 'new ' hastened my escape for the borg forever.

I didn't know I had been disfellowshipped until I spoke to an elder in the grocery store and he looked like he was about to bolt! I assumed the obvious.

I did write the elders in my former congregation a scathing letter telling them they could have at least let me know. I wasn't ever going back to that mess anyway and they knew it. Such vindictiveness from 'God's loving people'. Would Jesus do such a thing?

The WTS had this to say about the Catholic Church in the Awake Jan. 22,1989 page 9-11"the Catholic church conducts a cover up for guilty Priests and even makes it possible for them to continue their sexual perversions... church officials have failed to notify Authorities." Now notice what they tell the Elders in a Feb.15,2002 magazine "As directed in July1, 1989 letter to all bodies of elders,you should immediately call the Legal department for direction if you learn of a case of child abuse- Never suggest to anyone they should call the police or other authorities." What hypocrites!
